Welcome to My World of Historical Clothing

Passion for Fashion History and Sewing

I am a fashion designer specializing in historical clothing, and for me this work is a form of archaeology. Ever since I was little, I have dreamed of creating clothes from bygone times. My interest in history has grown through visits to historical sites, where I was fascinated by everything from Viking villages to magnificent castles. Creating historical garments gives me a unique opportunity to revive and preserve these worlds through textile art.

My Creative Journey

My creative side has always been expressed through various crafts – from painting and needlework to knitting. But my journey into sewing actually began with creating clothes for my own children. It was only later that I found my great passion in historical sewing. By studying fashion history, I became increasingly fascinated by the techniques and styles that characterized past centuries. Being able to combine my creative expression with historical authenticity has become the core of my work.

Crafts for All Body Types

I sew clothes for all body types and strive to celebrate the diversity of the body. Every garment I create is imbued with quality and precision, whether sewn by hand or by machine. My goal is always to be as historically accurate as possible, both in terms of material choices such as cotton, wool, silk and linen, and the colors and shapes that characterized the fashion of the time.

A Tribute to Freedom

Love for 1890s

My first collection, Love for 1890s, is inspired by the dynamic fashion of the 1890s. It was a time when the role of women was changing and new opportunities were opening up, especially in sports such as cycling and tennis. This freedom was reflected in fashion, with more casual clothing becoming increasingly practical but at the same time feminine and stylish.

Shirtwaist and Walking Skirt – Iconic Garments

In my collection, I highlight two key pieces from this era: the shirtwaist, an elegant blouse with puff sleeves and a defined waist, and the walking skirt, a casual yet stylish skirt that was often worn with or without a train. Together, they create a complete look from the 1890s that captures both the practical and sophisticated fashion of the time.

The Underlayer of Time

To recreate an authentic look, the collection also includes accessories from the period's lingerie, such as rompers, camisoles and petticoats. This not only gives an accurate silhouette, but also a feeling of truly being in the world of the 1890s.

Eco-conscious Fashion

I pride myself on working with a strong environmental awareness. I use both new and recycled fabrics to reduce my environmental impact. My focus is on creating clothes that not only look authentic, but are also meant to be worn and loved in everyday life.
